My Great-grandmother, Margaret "Peggy Noble, wife of Judge Alfred Combs was a d/o Nathan & Virg. Neace Noble. I noticed the mention of Samuel Allen and his wife (name not noted) and wondered if this was possibly my Great-great-grandfather who married Susan Sizemore. But he was born in 1806 in Virginia and I am not sure. The other Samuel Allen in my family was my maternal grandfather, Samuel that married 1st a Mary Noble and then Rebecca Roberts Grigsby.
