      Old Citizen Dead
      William Caudill (Stiller Bill) one of our oldest and best known citizens, died in the lower river section of this county a few days ago. He was about 85 years old and the father of fifteen children all living, the youngest being 38 years old. He leaves a large generation besides a great host of friends to mourn his death. Stiller Bill Caudill was one among the best men of Letcher county, always an exemplary citizen and his influence and example will be much missed by all.
