      "According the a deposition of Thomas Cody for the Revolutionary War Pension file of William Cornett of Perry Co., KY the following is listed: Thomas Cody's grandmother Judah Stacy raised Mary Everage Cornett as a child until she married William Cornett. Source is from "Virginia Revolutionary Pension Applications, Vol. 23, abstracted and compiled by John Frederick Dorman, Washington, D.C., 1975."
