    • Researcher Sharon Bogusky (boguskyss@netscape.net) provided the following comments in an e-mail dated 11 Mar 2011:

      "I found this the other day.  I knew he was in prison but didn't know where.  He was in prison for moonshine.  He was not listed with Rosemond in 1930 and my mom told me he was in prison.  I have spent forever trying to find out where and this popped up the other day.   He was there from around 1928 till just before he died in 1933."

      Accompanying the message was an image of the 1930 census page enumerating the inmates of the Atlanta Federal Prison as of 8 April 1930. Squire Bentley was listed [line 43] as a 55-year-old male, married 21 years, born in Kentucky.
