    • James "Jeams" Artrip served in the Conf. Army under Col. Prentiss VSL unit und. PRSWVA-p6. Reported to have been a Capt. in the 7th CSA Cav. Bn. under Clarence Prentice and was at the Battle of Cransenest. Many of Prentisses soldiers served in VSL.
